London based translation agency, Romo Translations, offers certified, notarised and sworn legal translation services for when you require a verified document translation in English or any other language. We also offer the professional translation of books and manuscripts.
Legal document translations
Romo has over 20 years experience in offering legal translation services for any legal documents such as summonses, contracts, insurance claims and court case transcripts. All our professional translators are familiar with the technical terms, lingo, and jargon associated with the legal field of a number of languages, and are therefore able to convey meaning in the most effective and suitable way for the target audience. Our legal translation service can be used for civil or court cases as well as arbitration of disputes, locally or internationally.
A legal translation is the most official of our three verified translating services and so, often takes the longest amount of time. The translations are attached to the original document and a legal declaration is stamped and attached to both documents to verify their authenticity.
All projects are quality assured by our expert panel that is here to ensure that a high standard of service is maintained on every project.
Our company also offers language interpretations to complement our legal translation services. These can be conducted as consecutive, simultaneous or ad hoc interpreting. If you are to attend legal proceedings, we can issue you with a trained and professional legal interpreter to convey your words accurately and effectively into your chosen language.
A certified translation is the simplest of our three verification services. Certified translations are for documents that need to be officially verified by the translation provider, for example birth certificates, insurance translations degrees and patents. Every back page of a certified translation is signed and stamped to authenticate the documentation and attest to the translator’s accuracy.
We offer certified translation services in the following areas:
- Immigration or Naturalisation Documents, including:
- Birth certificates
- Marriage certificates
- Divorce certificates
- Death certificates
- Transcripts, including:
- Training certificates
- All legal and regulatory documents and patents
- Documents and manuscripts
- Insurance claims
- Court case documents
- Power of attorney documents
- Ambassador and Embassy related papers
- Arbitration and dispute related documents
Notarised document translations
A notarized document translation (sworn translation) is a more official verification than a certified translation. If your documents require notarisation, one of our translators will swear before the Public Notary that they are a certified translator and that the document has been accurately translated from the original language. The Public Notary is an officer of the law whose function is to authenticate documents and take oaths, affidavits and declarations. The Notary will then stamp each authorised page and we will provide you with a single legitimate copy of your notarised document translation (sworn translation). Notarised translations are done for the same type of documents as certified translations but they are usually needed for legal purposes and certain official purposes.
Some of the documents that require our notarised translation service include:
- Divorce Certificates
- Adoption Papers
- Immigration Documents
Romo’s team of certified translators will not only provide accurate, professional translations but will also efficiently handle the bureaucratic and legal side of any translation document.
